In addition to a tuition waiver, GAs can work up to 20 hours per week and will be paid at the current minimum wage rate. GAs are required to clock in and out in ADP.

GAs are responsible for submitting tuition remission forms to HR by established due dates or risk not receiving tuition remission.

*

Tuition remission does NOT apply to any fees. Students are responsible for all fees including the technology fee ($8 per credit hour) and program fees.

*

GAs may not hold any other positions on campus.

*

International students are not permitted to work more than 20 hours a week, and all other students are not permitted to work more than 20 hours a week while class is in session.

*

An individual cannot be interviewed or hired as a GA until the College of Graduate Studies office has confirmed their application and acceptance into a graduate program.

*

GAs and their supervisors must attend the required HR orientation at the beginning of each academic year.
