Biobehavioral Health Minor

Drury University > Behavioral Sciences > Biobehavioral Health Minor

The biobehavioral health minor offers students insights into living healthier, more balanced lives by exploring how psychological, biological, social, emotional, and cultural factors shape health and well-being. This specialized psychology minor is designed to cultivate a nuanced understanding of the mind-body-environment connection and equip students with a foundation in whole-person health. While beneficial to all students, it is particularly advantageous for those in pre-health programs, as it prepares future practitioners for the complexities of modern healthcare and fosters the mindset needed to deliver effective, equitable, and compassionate care. It also fulfills prerequisites for exams such as the MCAT.

The Biobehavioral Health minor requires 21 credit hours of coursework.

All prerequisites must be completed prior to enrollment in the following courses.
