John Myers has nearly 25 years’ experience in health care operations and clinical services leadership. Prior to his current role as community president for Mercy Springfield Communities, John served as chief operating officer. Before joining Mercy, John served as chief operating officer at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. His experience leading complex health systems has prepared him for his work with Mercy.
John received his MBA in Healthcare Management from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and serves on several community boards including Springfield Chamber of Commerce, Boys and Girls Club of Springfield, Ozarks Technical Community College, Missouri Sports Hall of Fame, and Leaders for Ozarks Region Involvement.
John and his wife, Danielle, have three children, Aishlynn, Madilynn, Johnnie. They enjoy camping, fishing, and many other outdoor activities.
