James “Andy” Campbell, Visiting Assistant Professor, Fine & Performing Arts (Music)
Andy has been the Director of Choirs for Lakeland Regional Health Services as well as serving as a choral and vocal consultant. He has taught music/conducting at Southwest Baptist University and served as their orchestral director for musical and opera productions. He holds a B.S. in music industry/business from Southwest Baptist University; and an M.M. and D.M.A. in choral conducting from the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Cecily Cornelius-White, Visiting Assistant Professor, Behavioral Sciences (Psychology)
Cecily comes to us from Missouri State University where she taught per course courses in abnormal psychology,
memory and cognition, and counseling courses. She also taught at Texas A&M International University. Her
research is focused in cross-cultural studies and health and human dysfunction. She holds a B.A. in psychology from the University of Chicago; and an M.A. and Psy.D. in clinical psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology-Chicago Campus.

Joe Dillstrom, Instructor, Mathematics
Joe has taught adjunct courses in math for Drury, OTC, and Missouri State University for several years. He has a B.S. and M.S. in mathematics from Missouri State University.

Joshua Kennedy, Instructor, Physics
Josh has taught introductory physics for Drury, OTC and Edukan (Pratt Community College) for several years. He has also served as an analyst supporting market operations and data analysis. He holds a B.S. in physics and an M.S. in applied physics from the University of North Carolina – Charlotte.

Jessica Lyew-Ayee, Instructor, Fine & Performing Arts (Graphic Design)
Jessica has an extensive background in graphic design, iconography, brand manuals and infographics in the private sector. Se has worked for Quality Information Partners and Longevity Consulting with government clients. She has a B.F.A. from the Kansas City Art Institute.

Thea Scott, Instructor, School of Education and Child Development
Thea joins us from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) where she served as the Director of Effective Practices. Her professional training and work interests are in special education, multi-tiered systems of support with an emphasis on evidence-based educational practices. She has a B.S.Ed. from Lincoln University; and M.S.Ed. from Missouri State University; and an Ed.S. in learning, teaching and curriculum from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Bethany Sump, Instructor, Biology
Bethany comes to us from Northwestern University where she served as a graduate researcher in molecular biology, genetics, and biochemical techniques. Additionally, she taught courses in cellular, genetics, and molecular processes. She holds a B.A. in biochemistry and genetics from Texas A&M; and a Ph.D. in biological sciences from Northwestern University.

Jeffrey Zimmerman, Dean and Professor of Economics, Breech School of Business
Jeff joins us from Missouri Southern State University where he served as the Dean, Robert W. Plaster College of Business. He holds a B.S. in computer science and economics from the State University of New York at Albany; an M.A. in economics from West Virginia University; and an M.S. and Ph.D. in economics from Purdue University.

Jeff Ellis, Assistant Clinical Professor, Director of Didactic Education
Jeff comes to us from AFC Urgent Care in San Diego, CA where he managed staff and provided triage, treatment and education for a wide array of medical needs for a large patient population. He also developed a training program for Marine corpsmen in a deployed setting, providing mobile resuscitative capabilities. He holds a B.S. in physics from the University of Dallas and a M.M.S. from Midwestern University.

Mark Kaiser, Assistant Clinical Professor
Mark comes to us from Maxim Healthcare where he provided occupational medicine for a GM plant. He has also served as project manager and corporate health manager for several other private companies. He holds a B.S.ME. from Missouri School of Science and Technology and a M.S.PAS. from Rutgers University.

Crystal Powell, Assistant Clinical Professor, Director of Clinical Education
Crystal comes to us from Cox Healthcare where she served as a physician assistant in a pediatric setting. She also served as a clinical preceptor for physician assistant students. She holds a B.S. in exercise science from Brigham Young University and a M.PAS. from Missouri State University.

Lori Hutton, Part-Time Instructor, Fine & Performing Arts (Music)
Lori comes to us from Southwest Baptist University where she served as the interim director of instrumental studies. She has also served as the director of bands for several local school districts. She holds a B.A. instrumental music and an M.Ed. in instrumental music from Drury University.

Alexandra Kovatch, Part-Time Instructor, Fine & Performing Arts (Music)
Alexandra has taught as a music adjunct for Drury for two hears. She has also served as a conducting fellow and
guest conductor in the area. She holds a B.M. in harp performance from Washburn University and a M.M. in
orchestral conducting from Missouri State University.

Arkan Attariya, Fulbright Visiting Instructor of Arabic, Languages and Literature
Arkan comes to Drury from Israel on a one-year Fulbright grant to teach courses in Arabic language and culture. She previously taught Arabic in Gwangju, South Korea, and is currently an English teacher at Al Resala High School in Shefa’amr, Israel. Arkan holds a B.A. in English from the University of Haifa and an M.Ed. from the Academic Arab College for Education in Israel.

Yi-Chun Pan, Fulbright Visiting Instructor of Mandarin, Languages and Literature
Yi-Chun is coming to Drury from Taiwan on a one-year Fulbright grant. She will teach courses in Mandarin Chinese language and culture. Although she has taught Mandarin previously, her past ten years as a language instructor has been spent as an English teacher at the Experimental Elementary School of National Pingtung University. Yi-Chun also has interests in yoga and in oil-painting. She has a B.A. in English from National Pingtung University in Pingtung City, Taiwan, and she successfully completed numerous certificates in language teaching.
