Student Music Therapy Association

Drury University > Life at Drury > Get Involved > Student Music Therapy Association

About the Organization
Student Music Therapy Association is a student organization designed to help music therapy students deepen their understanding of the field and practice of music therapy. We provide opportunities for volunteerism and advocacy in the community to increase awareness of the therapeutic uses of music. A goal of our organization is to partner with the Drury Wellness Program to incorporate therapeutic music into the existing campus wellness initiative. Mu Theta meets bi-monthly to learn new musical styles, build community amongst its members, to discuss current trends in the field, and to plan fundraisers

Meetings: Meetings are Bi-Weekly (Place, times, and dates are determined at the start of the semester)

How to Join: Express interest to a club officer, or attend a meeting and sign up there.
