Prerequisite: Declared major or minor in Chemistry; declared major in Biochemistry; declared major or minor in Exercise Physiology; declared major or minor in Health Science; or, declared minor in Pre-Engineering.
A laboratory course that introduces the student to laboratory equipment and techniques they will use later in the curriculum. Topics and techniques include stoichiometry, making solutions, building apparatuses and exposure to equipment. There will be an emphasis placed on how to keep a proper lab notebook. This course is designed to augment CHEM 115.
