PAS 653: Evidence-Based Medicine


1 credit hour

The Evidence-Based Medicine course is designed to teach students the principles of evidence-based medicine and to develop an approach to evaluating medical research literature. This course will build on PAS 652 Biostatistics and Epidemiology and further enhance the student’s ability to analyze medical research. Students will learn how to assess the validity of research and learn to apply evidence-based research to the medical decision-making process for patient centered care. This course will be utilized by students for the development of their capstone thesis.
