Prerequisite or Co-requisite: BIOL 172.
This course is designed to give students a head start on the pathway to becoming either a physician or a physician’s assistant. In this course students will gain a thorough understanding of all the steps that need to be accomplished to make the student an outstanding candidate for either medical school or PA school including resumes, personal statements, letters of recommendation, standardized tests, course requirements, etc. Additionally, students will begin to develop themselves as candidates by shadowing at local hospitals, practicing interview skills, and connecting with various practicing physician and PA guest speakers.
