Wayne Chipman

Wayne Chipman returned to Drury University in June of 2016 as Executive Vice President for University Advancement after serving in a number of advancement roles at Truman State University and at the University of Missouri – Columbia. During his tenure of over 12 years at the University of Missouri (most recently as Assistant Vice Chancellor for Advancement), Chipman played a central role in the success of the $1 billion “For All We Call Mizzou” campaign and was a leader in the current $1.3 billion “Mizzou: Our Time to Lead” campaign. Chipman has extensive experience in the area of planned and endowment gifts, and has managed teams of major gift fundraisers focusing on high net-worth individuals, foundation relations, corporate relations, regional programs, and international advancement. Chipman also draws on his prior advancement experience at Drury from 1997 to 2001 and his work in economic development and as a practicing attorney. He holds an MBA and a Juris Doctor degree.
