SPRINGFIELD, Mo., May 8, 2026 – Drury University is aware of an international data breach involving Instructure, parent company of Canvas.
Canvas is an educational website used by schools and universities worldwide to manage grades, course notes, assignments, lectures, videos, and more.
Grades have not been compromised at Drury, and no other university systems or information have been impacted. Canvas is available for use by students, faculty, and staff.
Final exams, commencement ceremonies, and all related activities were not impacted and will continue as scheduled.
The Office of Academic Affairs has been in contact with faculty. Drury will continue to monitor the situation and report back to the campus and community with any updates or changes.
