SPRINGFIELD, Mo., May 24, 2023 — In the upcoming fall semester, Drury University’s College of Graduate Studies will introduce a new certificate aimed at enhancing communication insights and expanding leadership skills for both emerging and experienced leaders. The Communication and Organizational Leadership Certificate is comprised of four, 8-week online courses, including:
“We have identified four dynamic content areas that will stimulate innovative thinking around leadership and communication,” said Dr. Regina Waters, Program Director. “In today’s world, leaders need a skill set encompassing critical reasoning, applied research, persuasion, as well as oral and written expression. This certificate equips professionals from any industry or organization with these essential abilities.”
Students who start in August can complete the certificate by May.
The credit hours earned through the Communication and Organizational Leadership Certificate can be applied toward three different degrees: Master of Arts in Communication, Master of Integrated Leadership and Master of Nonprofit and Civic Leadership. Graduates from these programs have pursued successful careers in fields such as law, politics, nonprofits, healthcare, banking and business.
