SPRINGFIELD, MO., April 25, 2022 – In a celebration like never before, this week Drury University will host the inaugural Fusion Day event featuring exciting guest speakers and special student presentations.

Fusion Day is a time set aside to celebrate and showcase the work and academic success of Drury students. Events will begin the evening of Wednesday, April 27 and continue through Thursday, April 28.

“After launching Your Drury Fusion in 2019, we will now see the fruits of our students’ labor through the innovative and holistic programing,” said Drury President Dr. Tim Cloyd. “We really want this to be a time of celebration for our students and our community. The most important part of the day is that faculty, staff, alumni, trustees and the community have an opportunity to engage with students and see the outcomes of their efforts.”

Festivities will kick off April 27 in Clara Thompson Hall with a graduate student poster display at 5:30 p.m. At 7 p.m. Drury alumni Doyal Bryant ’75 and founding member of Hyperreal Digital, will take the stage for an immersive and memorable presentation as he provides insight into the future of technology.
