ST. ROBERT, Mo., February 28, 2022 – On Tuesday, March 1, St. Robert-area military families are invited to Drury GO’s first monthly Military Spouses Networking Event. The event will take place at the Drury GO St. Robert campus, 194 East lawn Ave Suite C, from 11a.m.-1p.m.

It’s free to the public and children are welcome. Preregistration is not required.

“The goal is to provide military families with community resources, that may otherwise be difficult to locate,” says Kerstin Ellis, Drury GO interim lead site director mid-Missouri region. “We want to provide the opportunity to network and show we support community involvement.”

Drury University’s long-standing tradition in working with military members and their families dates back 75 years. Over the decades, the university has employed military spouses, Veterans Affairs work studies, provided academic advising and Veterans Affairs and tuition assistance guidance.

Drury believes it is imperative to provide the best support and guidance to our military members and their families. The St. Robert campus is the only location in mid-Missouri that employs a full time Veterans Affairs certifying official, making it more accessible for active and retired military members as well as their dependents, to receive clarification and support.

During the monthly Military Spouses Networking Events, a variety of area businesses will be in attendance to present information and provide resources. The March 1 event will feature representatives from the following organizations:
