Saint Robert, MO, September 18, 2023 – As we approach a season when many people face mental health challenges and depression, Drury GO is proud to present a Mental Health Seminar on September 25, 2023, at the Saint Robert Drury GO Campus.

The seminar, focused on self-awareness and mental health, aims to raise awareness within the Saint Robert and surround area, as well as among Military members. Dr. Stephan Baker, Ed.D., M.Ed., B.A, LPC, will speak during the event. Dr. Baker is a distinguished psychotherapist and educator and will bring a wealth of expertise to this important seminar.

With a strong background in military service, Dr. Baker has been serving the St. Louis counseling community since 2018. He possesses valuable experience gained from his training at Jefferson Barracks VA Hospital, where he worked closely with combat veterans. Dr. Baker’s therapeutic specialties include EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and VIR (Visual Imaging Replacement), integrating trauma-focused and Ego state interventions. He is an active-duty Army Lieutenant Colonel, set to retire in 2023 as the Provost Marshal.

Dr. Baker specializes in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, offering support to those dealing with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder and anger management issues. His therapeutic approach involves equipping clients with tools to cope, build resilience and eliminate barriers to self-actualization.
