Instructor Development School consists of 48-hours of training in the following areas:
- Role of the Instructor
- Evaluation of the Instructor
- Training Aids
- Lesson Plan Construction
- Teaching Methods
- Principles of Learning
- Test Construction
- Legal Aspects
- Source Documentations
- Public Speaking
- Student Presentations
This 48-hour course requires 100% attendance for all six days for certification.
Participants need to have command authorization to attend the training.
The training is divided into two, sessions, a three day sessions, to allow for agency staffing and student preparation.
Dress Code: Business casual.
Items needed: A laptop computer is needed for the PowerPoint build, and course formatting day.
There is no POST credit awarded for this 8 hour block.
