PAS 644: Pathophysiology II

Pathophysiology II is the second of a two-semester overview of the disease process through the study of the convergence of pathology with physiology. This course continues the study of the functional changes associated with disease or injury and continues to examine the complex interrelationships of function and dysfunction at the genetic, cellular, tissue, organ, and systemic levels. This course complements Clinical Medicine II, Physical Diagnosis and Provider Communication II, and Pharmacology II in the second semester, and will cover cardiology, pulmonology, nephrology, urology, gastroenterology, and hematology.
