Prerequisite: EDUC 205, EDUC 207, EDUC 302, formal admission to teacher education program. Must be taken prior to student teaching.
A methods course that prepares students to teach secondary social studies. Course will include a study of the social studies curriculum at the middle school and high school levels, lesson planning, simulation games, value clarification, inquiry approach to teaching, materials and textbooks. Offered fall semester.
