Prerequisite: ARCH 231.
This course provides an understanding of how structural systems and material construction relate to building form and concept. The course provides information for basic size and placement of structural components and moves the basic ideas presented in Building Systems I forward into consideration of the building envelope. Students will begin exploration of the range of materials available for building enclosure. Offered fall semester.
