ARCH 202: Architectural Design Fundamentals II


5 credit hours

Prerequisite: ARCH 201.
This studio further develops students’ abilities to conceptualize and implement architectural ideas and respond to issues of environment, landscape, site, enclosure, program, and human experience. Emphasis will be placed on understandings of building as shelter, mediating between diverse human needs and the external world. Students will build upon content from previous studios, and will be introduced to basic requirements for accessibility and life safety. Offered spring semester. Course fee required.
