Pool Art Center Gallery

Drury University > Pool Art Center Gallery

The Pool Art Center Gallery is located on the first floor of the Pool Art Center, 940 N. Clay Avenue (on the east side of campus across from Harrison Stadium). The gallery features regional, national, and international artists who work with a variety of mediums and concepts. In May, the finale show of the season highlights Fine Art and Graphic & Digital Design majors by exhibiting their APEX senior projects in the gallery and surrounding areas of the building.

The gallery is free and open to the public. Due to the large amount of events and galleries open on the first Friday of every month we have changed our opening reception hours to 4 – 7 p.m. this year. The gallery will also be open Monday through Fridays, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Thursdays from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. to view the various exhibitions.

Call for Artists

The Pool Art Center Gallery reviews portfolios on a regular basis.  If you are an artist or curator interested in exhibiting work in either of our galleries please send a PDF portfolio, no larger than 8MB, to Professor Rebecca Miller at the link below. The portfolio should include 10-20 examples of work, artist statement(s), exhibition proposal, and resume of exhibition history.

There is no deadline for submissions and portfolios will be reviewed throughout the year.  Due to the number of submissions, only artists we are able to offer exhibitions to will be notified.
