This 12-credit hour certificate will prepare you to work with the approximately 20% of students who struggle with literacy activities, many of whom are dyslexic.
This specialized training enables you to address the unique needs of students struggling with the reading, writing and language skills that come with a Dyslexia diagnosis. With this certificate, you will receive support and training in evaluating students with reading difficulties and be provided with strategies and structures you can use in the classroom every day.
Please note: Acquisition of the Dyslexia Certificate from Drury University does not lead to Special Reading K-12 certification from the State of Missouri.
