
The CPR and AED certification class is presented by the Drury Law Enforcement Academy in partnership with HSI, the Health & Safety Institute.
This 4-hour course requires 100% attendance for certification.
This course is designed for anyone who wants to be certified in CPR, and the use of the AED and other basic lifesaving tools like the use of naloxone. Each participant will receive a keychain / one way valve CPR mask, free naloxone kit, and a certification card.

Field Training Officer School consists of 36 hours of training in the following areas: Concepts and Roles, FTO Forms, leadership, management, principles of learning, Report Writing, Constitutional Issues, Work Place Harassment, and much more.
This 36-hour course requires 100% attendance for all four days for certification.
Participants need to have command authorization to attend the training.
The training is over the course of two weeks. Each week will contain a 2-day session to allow for agency staffing.
For the Law Enforcement Officer students, POST hours will be awarded.

The Frontline Leader Course is a forty-hour course designed to engage the student on an individual and group basis, over a variety of topics from Leadership Traits, Culture, Philosophy, Values, Beliefs and Principles, Giving Feedback, Evaluations, and much more. This course has been designed for any profession.
This 40-hour course requires 100% attendance for all five days for certification.
Participants need to have command authorization to attend the training.
The training is over the course of two weeks. The first week contains a two-day session and the second week contains a three-day session to allow for agency staffing and student preparation.
For the Law Enforcement Officer students, POST hours will be awarded.

Instructor Development School consists of 48-hours of training in the following areas: Role of the Instructor, Evaluation of the Instructor, Training Aids, Lesson Plan Construction, Teaching Methods, Principles of Learning, Test Construction, Legal Aspects, Source Documentations, Public Speaking and Student Presentations.
This 48-hour course requires 100% attendance for all six days for certification.
Participants need to have command authorization to attend the training.
The training is over the course of two weeks. The first week contains two 3-day sessions to allow for agency staffing and student preparation.
For the Law Enforcement Officer students, POST hours will be awarded.

During this course of instruction, students will discuss and participate in groups exercises as they relate to crime scene processing. The students will learn to take photographs during daylight and night time hours, how to complete a crime scene diagram, practice latent print and impression evidence collection, as well as learn about death investigation and much more.
This 40-hour course requires 100% attendance for all five days for certification.
Participants need to have command authorization to attend the training.
This course is practical for all personnel, sworn or non-sworn, who will process crime scenes.

This course has been designed for the new detective in mind. Some of the topics covered are; search warrant application, Resources for the new detective, Case files and Case Management, Crimes Against Persons and Property, Camera use for the detectives, Interview and Interrogations and much more.
