Course Description

Everyday Chemistry

Chemistry is everywhere: in the food we eat, the things we use, and the world around us. We will study the different types, uses, careers, and magic of everyday chemistry. Don’t miss this chance to inspire the next generation of doctors, engineers, pharmacists, forensic scientists and more. With fun experiments and exciting activities, this class is great for curious students from Pre-K to sixth grade.

Scholarships

Scholarships

A limited number of financial need scholarships are available. If you would like to be considered for a scholarship, you must enclose the following:

  1. A letter explaining any extenuating circumstances pertinent to existing financial status, including what efforts have been made to obtain money locally;
  2. A $10 registration fee (refundable if no scholarship is awarded) is required to ensure that registration for classes can be completed; AND
  3. A letter from the student outlining why he/she wants to attend the program.
  4. Email all materials to Mary Potthoff at mpotthof@drury.edu

Scholarships are awarded solely on the basis of financial need. We encourage parents to contact local businesses, employers, schools, and civic organizations to help fund scholarships.
