About the Scholarship

The way we use the Internet is shaping the future of our education system.

By 2018, ninety-nine percent of classrooms across the U.S. will be equipped with unprotected high-speed broadband. But with that growing connectivity comes an increased risk of privacy exposure.

As more students are bringing their Internet-ready devices to class, awareness of basic online security and a fundamental understanding of privacy rights are more important than ever.
