Basically, any type of communication with a potential employer/grad school is a marketing's your chance to market yourself.

Please note there are many styles/formats of resumes and there is no set right or wrong way of writing a resume. Be sure to pay attention to every little detail. Be sure your resume is consistent, with no grammatical or spelling errors and try not to abbreviate. Typically, resumes should be one page for recent college graduates and students.
