Kiplinger’s Personal Finance recognizes Drury as a “Best College Value”
SPRINGFIELD, Mo., July 25, 2019 — Drury University has again been named one of the best values in American higher education by Kiplinger’s Personal Finance. Drury is one of 44 private universities in the Midwest on Kiplinger’s list of 400 Best College Values, out today.
The analysis is based on objective measurements of academic quality and affordability. The rankings are now online at kiplinger.com/links/colleges and will appear in print in the September 2019 issue of Kiplinger’s Personal Finance, on newsstands August 13.
“Drury has always provided an outstanding value by preparing students for both life and career,” says Kevin Kropf, executive vice president of enrollment management at Drury. “We are proud to expand on that tradition as we launch the Your Drury Fusion curriculum this year. The program guarantees every graduate will know the power of connecting profession and passion through hands-on, real-world experiences and life-changing mentorship.”
“Our rankings—which weigh affordability alongside academic quality—are designed to help families see how their full array of college options stack up,” says Kaitlin Pitsker, associate editor, Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine. “We start with a universe of nearly 1,200 schools, then trim the list based on measures of academic quality, cost and financial aid data.”
