About the Organization
KDRU is a non-commercial, student-led college radio station that serves Drury University and Springfield, Missouri. In addition to playing a variety of music, KDRU is a true community-focused station featuring unique and locally produced news and feature programming. At KDRU, we provide Drury students the opportunity to grow in multiple areas and create thought-provoking content through a variety of platforms. Whether on-air or behind the scenes, broadcast cultivates skills and confidence that students can take far beyond the airwaves.

Meetings
KDRU’s staff meets once monthly on Tuesdays from 4-5 p.m. in the Shewmaker Communication Center, Room 221.

How to Join
KDRU is open for all students who are interested in radio communications and behind the scenes production. To be on air, students must enroll in Radio Activities 141 and gain experience for at least one semester in how to operate and manage the KDRU radio station. Once the student has fulfilled the class the student can continue on air with the student organization.
