International Student Orientation & Arrival Information
Fall 2020 Orientation Information
For all incoming day, evening, exchange and graduate international students
All international students who plan to begin classes at Drury University in August 2020 should plan to arrive on Drury's campus on Sunday, August 2 or Monday, August 3. As students are arranging travel, the final stop should be to the Springfield-Branson National Airport (airport code: SGF) on the days previously mentioned. Students who would like to be met at the airport and driven to the Drury campus at no charge should complete the airport pick-up request form.
Students who are 21 years or older and who plan to live off campus are responsible for arranging their own temporary and permanent housing. This may include staying in a hotel until permanent arrangements are made. Also, transportation to and from Drury's campus is the personal and financial responsibility of each student.
Important: At the direction of Drury University’s COVID-19 Response Team, and in consideration of Greene County Public Health recommendations, students engaged in international travel within two weeks of arriving in the U.S. will be required to self-isolate/quarantine in their residence hall or off-campus for 14 days pursuant to their arrival in the U.S. Those in the residence halls will have meals provided.
Internet connectivity via WiFi will be available upon check-in, along with a temporary (optional) new SIM card for cellular devices.
International Student Orientation (required for ALL international students): August 14-15, 2020
Airport Pick-Up Request Form
All incoming international students must complete the airport pick-up request form.
Linen Request Form
Students are responsible for providing their own pillows, blankets, and bed/ bath linens. If you would like to have linens waiting for your arrival to the campus, there is a linen service to order things in advance. Please be aware your room will not have these essentials unless you prepare for them. View the linen request form.
Move-In Check List
If you have questions about what you should or should not bring to your campus housing, here is a checklist of things to consider. Remember that you will have time to purchase some of these things when we take you on a shopping trip during orientation.
All new students are required to fill out forms to attend Drury University. View the list of required forms.
