At Drury University, our Diversity Council is dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment where every individual is valued, respected, and empowered for success. Our mission is to support the leadership of the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, in all its forms. We want to promote a culture of equity, and cultivate a culture of inclusion throughout our organization and beyond. The Diversity Council will:
Celebrate Diversity – Embrace the backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences that make our community unique.
Advance Equity – Work tirelessly to eliminate systemic barriers and ensure fair and equitable access to opportunities, resources, and support for all members of our community.
Foster Inclusion – Cultivate an environment where every voice is heard, every contribution is valued, and every person feels a sense of belonging.
The President’s Council on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion works in collaboration with the Office of the President and Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion on growth of an inclusive climate. Funds may be requested in support of your cause. Please note that the council meets once a month.
