The Frontline Leader Course is a forty-hour course designed to engage the student on an individual and group basis, over a variety of topics from Leadership Traits, Culture, Philosophy, Values, Beliefs and Principles, to giving Feedback, Evaluations and much more. This course has been designed for any profession, sworn or non-sworn. For the Law Enforcement Officer students, POST hours will be awarded.

This 40-hour course requires 100% attendance for all five days for certification.

Participants need to have command authorization to attend the training. One session will be five straight days, and the second offering will be divided into two, sessions, a two day session and a three day session, to allow for agency staffing and student preparation.

Date: August 4, 5, 11, 12, and 13, 2026

Class limit: Maximum of 20 students and a minimum limit of 5 students.

Location: The March class will be held at the Bolivar Police Department, 211 W. Walnut St., Bolivar, Missouri. The August class will be held at the DLEA.
