This course has been designed for the new detective in mind. Some of the topics covered are; search warrant application, Resources for the new detective, Case files and Case Management, Crimes Against Persons and Property, Camera use for the detectives, Interview and Interrogations and much more. At the end of the week the students will divide into teams for a practical exercise.

This 40-hour course requires 100% attendance for all five days for certification.

Participants need to have command authorization to attend the training.

This course is practical for all personnel who will be detectives or investigators for a law enforcement agency.

Class limit: Maximum of 15 students and a minimum limit of 10 students.

Registration Deadline: By 1600 on February 19th, 2026 for the March class and June 25th for the July class.
