MBA 646: Supply Chain and Customer Relationship Management

Supply Chain Management (SCM) focuses on overseeing the flow of materials and information across multi-stage production and distribution networks. This course will equip students with the knowledge and tools needed to create, implement, and maintain strategies for addressing supply chain challenges. We will start by covering the fundamentals of supply chain management, including strategies, performance metrics, demand forecasting, production planning, transportation and location design, inventory management, and the bullwhip effect. Emphasis will be placed on decision-support tools and organizational models that help companies reduce costs while enhancing their responsiveness to market changes.
