Prerequisite: NPFT 201.
This class will be a foundation course and provide knowledge, skills, and approaches to the critical role of fundraising in the nonprofit sector. Students will learn how to develop an overall plan for funding, how to search for and develop grant proposals, as well as fundraising strategies and techniques for donors. The course will also cover fundraising events, and roles and duties for fund development within an organization.
