BIOL 440: Issues and Innovations in Healthcare


3 credit hours

Prerequisite: BIOL 145, BADM 240, PHIL 305.

This course is designed to be a capstone for students who wish to complete the Modern Healthcare Certificate. In this course, students will use their knowledge of careers in healthcare, the business of healthcare, and the ethical issues of healthcare to delve deeper into healthcare issues and innovations. Through literature, discussions, speakers, projects, and writings students will explore past, present, and future problems that healthcare must overcome. Every student in this course will create a Fusion Day poster to showcase a potential solution to a problem in healthcare.
