PAS 673: Essentials of Emergency Medicine and Critical Care


3 credit hours

Essentials of Emergency Medicine and Critical Care integrates all body systems covered in Clinical Medicine I and II and applies an urgent and emergent approach to commonly seen medical and surgical conditions while exploring the challenges faced by providers in these settings. Students will learn to select the most appropriate laboratory and diagnostic studies, pharmacologics, and treatment modalities while caring for patients in the emergent and critical care environment.
