A common issue for communities today is developing, funding, and maintaining a comprehensive community approach to behavioral health services. This course is designed to incorporate the full context of the health administration program to develop comprehensive and collaborative strategies in behavioral health management. An in-depth review of public health services, inpatient and emergency care, outpatient services, and ongoing management through comprehensive behavioral care services will be covered in this course. Behavioral health budgeting, reimbursement, financial models for inpatient, and ambulatory programs needed to support this model are important concepts covered.
