MASA 625: Administration in Athletics and Sports

This course examines the principles and practices involved in the administration of athletics and sports organizations. Students will explore the diverse roles and responsibilities required for effective leadership in sports management, including strategic planning and financial management. Emphasis will be placed on the development of practical skills necessary for managing teams, programs, and facilities, as well as the implementation of policies that support athletes, coaches, and staff. The course also addresses the challenges and opportunities unique to collegiate, professional, and recreational sports organizations.
