National Scholarships, Fellowships, and Awards

Drury University > Robert and Mary Cox Compass Center > National Scholarships, Fellowships, and Awards

Please reach out with Faculty Mentor, Dr. Shelley Wolbrink, and your adviser, for more information and guidance. The best applications will have a faculty mentor and received mentoring.  Many applications require institutional endorsement. We also welcome assisting alumni with post-graduate opportunities.

At Drury we encourage ambitious students to compete for prestigious national programs and fellowships. These programs and opportunities seek researchers, leaders, creative, and diverse students from around the country. Some fellowships—or funding opportunities– are for first-generation students, others for those less well-travelled, or active researchers. Some will send you to international locations to teach English after graduation or pay for three years of graduate education. We encourage you to talk to your faculty mentors to consider long-term plans: what do you want to do? What impact do you want to make? Writing grants is a lesson in conveying your knowledge and passion. No matter the outcome, your application sets a strong professional tone and will improve your writing, professionalism, and relationships with your academic advisors, identifying passions and ambitions. We also welcome assisting students and alumni with post-graduate opportunities.
