Art & Art History Activity Grants

The Art & Art History program awards activity grants up to $2,000 to students. Recipients of these grants serve as student assistants, many of them in the Pool Arts Center Gallery, installing and hosting monthly exhibits. This fun and educational experience normally requires your time and talents each month during the installation of gallery exhibitions. Art and Art History activity grants are renewable if you maintain a GPA of 3.0 (B) or better and participate with student assistant duties. Students must be a major in art history, fine art, or graphic & digital design to receive and maintain the grant.

To be considered, please submit the form below. Your cover letter should detail why you want to pursue fine art, art history, or graphic & digital design as a major.

Program Specific Requirements

For those students interested in Design Arts or Fine Arts, please submit a representative portfolio of six images of your work (design PDF files or prints).

For those students interested in art history, please submit a two-page essay on your experiences and interests in the history of art.
