Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Minor in Chemistry, Minor in French: Drury University ‘22

Job description
I manage the admissions process for prospective students from five high schools in Springfield, Missouri, as well as in 15 states nationwide (including Alaska and Hawaii). I help prospective students navigate through the application process, and evaluate applicants’ academic and personal achievements for admission to the University.

Favorite thing about Drury
My favorite thing about Drury is the close-knit, family atmosphere that exists all around campus where everyone knows each other and upholds rich traditions that you can’t always find at larger schools.

Favorite Springfield Restaurant
My favorite restaurant in Springfield is either the Aviary Cafe or O’Hana Japanese Steakhouse!

Hobby
I love going on spontaneous road trips with my friends and family, as well as going on float trips in the Ozark Mountains during summer months.

Fun fact
A fun fact about me is that my ancestors emigrated from Hammer, Norway to America the same month and year Drury was founded (September 1873)- and my family has farmed on the same homestead in Baltic, South Dakota for almost 150 years.

Most interesting item in your office
The most interesting item in my office is an original, WWI-Edition Drury yearbook from 1918 that has pictures of Drury’s soldiers and the original buildings on campus. I also have a yearbook from Bob Barker’s sophomore year that showcases his time as a Drury student during WWII. Come by my office to see both books (and more) for yourself!

Territory
Springfield Public Schools, Texas, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota, North Dakota, Alaska, and Hawaii
