Job Description:
I work alongside our Executive Director of Admission to help manage the admission process and ensure we meet enrollment and revenue goals. I evaluate prospective students for admission, award scholarships, and supervise student workers in the Office of Admission.

Favorite Thing About Drury:
The incredible professors and the food. It’s not every day you find faculty who host students at their homes for study groups. I also appreciate how involved our alumni are- you can almost always find one visiting campus and sharing their memories.

Favorite Restaurant in Springfield:
It’s hard to choose just one, so here are a few favorites of mine:

  • Char (for a great steak sandwich)
  • Civil Kitchen (they have an excellent smash burger)
  • Fire & Ice (best fried rice in Springfield)

-Bonus pick: The CX at Drury- their Philly Cheesesteak flatbread is amazing.

Favorite Hobbies:
Traveling to Europe as much as possible, going on trips with my LCA fraternity brothers, kayaking, hiking, and attending concerts.

Fun Fact:
My family emigrated from Norway the same year Drury was founded. I’ve been fortunate to visit them in Norway many times, and I’m currently working on learning the language.

Most Interesting Item in My Office:
I have an original WWI-era Drury yearbook from 1918 that was given to me by an alum. It shows campus during that time and highlights Drury students who served in the military. I also have a yearbook from Bob Barker’s time at Drury- feel free to stop by if you’d like to see them!

Territory:
I manage the Kansas City, Missouri metro area, along with Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida.
