Two steadfast benefactors of Drury University surprised a longtime employee of the institution by naming a new building in her honor. Judy Thompson is a prodigious fundraiser and master relationship-builder who has dedicated most of her life to Drury’s mission and students. She will be the namesake of a new 12,000-square foot executive conference center that opens January of 2023.

The Judy Thompson Executive Conference Center will significantly expand impact and functionality of the building, encompassing a large lobby area as well as the forum: an expansive space for meetings, conferences, wedding receptions and workshops such as small-business programming, TEDx Talks, speakers and live performances.

  • Two automatic room dividers can split the room into three sections to help the room stay flexible for many layout options.
  • Three projector screens so everyone can have a screen near them
  • Use of the foyer as a check-in location
  • Coat Check Closet

Sound System

Drury’s JTECC has a brand new sound system that can easily play your music from an iPad. JTECC has a wireless mic, 1 handheld mic, and 1 podium with a built-in mic.


The lighting in JTECC is gorgeous with natural light flowing through the huge windows. If you need shades, we have room shades that are controlled conveniently by a remote!
