Expansion of Military Job: Many military officer positions require an advanced degree. Taking on a college education also demonstrates leadership and can lead to increased military duties.
Gain Knowledge: Drury offers a variety of programs that can help military members gain insight into their careers. Public speaking and critical thinking skills used in class can be beneficial in any military position.
Employment After Service: Typical military service lasts only for a few years. Most military members will return to civilian life and the American job market. Veterans and active military will both benefit from the career opportunities a college degree provides.

Military members must fill out the Drury Veterans Service Request Form before receiving their VA certification. Once the certificate of eligibility is received, it must be sent to dwells008@drury.edu.
Active military and veterans must activate their GI Bill benefits by visiting va.gov. This site will also allow students to see what education and housing benefits they qualify for.
