MTHP 311: Music Therapy Techniques & Interventions II

This is an experiential-learning course that provides students with continued opportunities to practice music therapy techniques and interventions through both individual and group work. Each week will include practice sessions and opportunities to demonstrate students’ abilities as music therapists. The skills covered in this semester include arranging, leading, and conducting small client ensembles (Orff, percussion, chimes, or vocal), clinical improvisation, lyric analysis, and songwriting.
