This course provides an in-depth understanding of accounting fundamentals for prospective users of financial statements (e.g., managers, stockholders, financial analysts, and creditors). Students will develop the skills needed to analyze corporate financial statements and disclosures for use in financial analysis and business decision making. Topics covered will include financial and managerial accounting as well as how taxes affect business decisions.
