This course is open by audition to any Drury University student regardless of major. It is designed to give students the skills necessary to function in a small jazz combo setting. Some topics addressed will be choosing literature, arranging tunes, learning jazz standards, listening, improvisation, communication, rehearsal techniques, rehearsal/performance etiquette and musical interaction.
