About this Issue: Community

At Drury University, community is more than a tradition — it is the foundation on which dreams are built and futures are shaped. Here, students are not only challenged to achieve excellence but are supported by a village of mentors, peers, and advocates who believe deeply in their potential. This unwavering commitment — The Drury Difference — is evident in the extraordinary ways our students engage with the world: leading public service initiatives, advancing social justice, and using their education to fight for real change. Success at Drury is not just measured by awards or scholarships, but by the depth of compassion, the drive to lift others, and the courage to lead with heart. In every classroom, every campus organization, and every act of service, Drury students embody the belief that leadership is rooted in community. By investing in each other, we are building a stronger, more hopeful future for all.

Drury University celebrated its fourth annual Fusion Day. The campus-wide event included certificate capstone panels, Fuse Talks, food trucks, a poster session, pizza, and two keynote speeches by Brandy Enver Harris ’08 and veteran journalist John Quiñones.
