Drury alumna Melanie Earl-Replogle named Director of Annual Giving & Stewardship
SPRINGFIELD, Mo., May 8, 2018 —Melanie Earl-Replogle has joined Drury University as Director of Annual Giving and Stewardship. She is a 1999 Drury graduate and brings a wealth of fundraising experience to her alma mater at a time when giving to the university is on the rise.
Earl-Replogle has spent the last 14 years as Director of Annual Funds at Missouri State University, where she played a key role in maintaining alumni participation rates above the national average for similar universities and helped MSU achieve the highest number of alumni donors in its history. Earl-Replogle helped lead successful crowdfunding efforts that opened up new sources of revenue, as well as more traditional fundraising campaigns. Her strategic planning for annual fund campaigns contributed to the success of two major capital campaigns at Missouri State.
Earl-Replogle has been invited to speak at national conferences for digital and social fundraising platforms, and regionally for the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). At Drury, she will lead fundraising and engagement efforts in support of the Annual Drury Experience Fund, as well as support all fundraising efforts at the university.
“I’m so excited to return home for the opportunity to have an impact at my beloved Drury University,” she says. “I am so fortunate to return to work in my chosen career at the place that I chose for my college experience. I was a student ambassador at Drury and that experience in the Office of Advancement inspired me to follow my career path. I really feel like it is all coming full circle and I can’t wait to inspire the next generation of Drury students and alumni.”
Earl-Replogle earned a B.A. in Public Relations from Drury. She met her husband, Dale Replogle, while at Drury on a study abroad trip to Costa Rica. The two were married in Stone Chapel and today have four children ranging in ages from 13 to 2.
