Drury welcomes new site coordinator at Lebanon campus
LEBANON, Mo., August 22, 2018 — Natalie Beckler became the new site coordinator of Drury’s campus in Lebanon on August 1.
Beckler brings a wealth of higher education experience to the position, including six years of academic advising at Ozarks Technical Community College, one year of departmental advising at Missouri State University and one year of academic advising and special needs counseling at Moberly Area Community College. She also has over 10 years of experience in community action management from her time at Ozarks Area Community Action Corporation in Springfield, where she helped families become self-sufficient.
“It taught me perseverance and empathy,” Beckler says.
Beckler received her Master of Science in Guidance and Counseling, as well as her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Missouri State University.
“I have a passion for helping students meet their education goals,” Beckler says. “I hope to be a positive influence by encouraging, supporting, motivating and empowering them to succeed.”
Beckler is an Ozarks native. She and her husband, Matt, have one daughter, Chesney.
“I value family, friendship, honesty, integrity, education, professionalism, teamwork, open- mindedness, respect, and a good sense of humor,” she says.
