The Vine

About the Organization
The Vine is a college ministry on campus that allows anyone to join with no prerequisites or fees. Our mission is to provide a community based on the truth of the gospel and develops relationships, serve the community, and encourage spiritual growth. The Vine encourages its members to be followers of Jesus Christ; being disciples who make it their mission to make disciples.

The Vine is a great community for students to get involved in a college ministry. College is a time of independence and where students make an independent decision on the spiritual life they will live. The Vine will provide a peer community, a church home of Second Baptist Church, a rejuvenating Tuesday night praise and worship, and Bible study groups. The Vine is a great place to grow in community, friends, and biblical knowledge and encouragement.

Meetings
The Vine meets every Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. in Carrington Hall at MSU. The Vine also has multiple opportunities to join a weekly Bible study. Please contact an officer to get involved in one that works with your schedule.

How to Join
Come to The Vine each Tuesday night and get involved in DU Vine Small Groups on campus.

Group Affiliation
The college ministry is affiliated with Second Baptist Church in Springfield. The Vine ministry began on Missouri State’s campus in 2007 by college pastor Daniel Hood from Second Baptist. The ministry has grown and is now established on DU’s campus. On certain occasions and events, both DU and MSU “Viners” come together.
